Before your first step
Do I need a miner or a paid membership?
No miner purchase, staking or paid game advantages are required. You can open the demo without signing up.
Do I need to be a Bitcoin expert?
You need to be willing to speak with an owner. Launch materials will include a short guide to GoBTC Pay. Business checks are handled by the operator, not the Sheriff.
What if there is already a Sheriff nearby?
A city can have many Sheriffs. Connect different places and improve the city’s result together. The first version has no territory takeovers.
How long does onboarding take?
The first conversation and registration are only the start. Going live depends on the owner’s readiness and the required business checks.
Which cities will launch first?
Live launch cities are still being selected. The demo is available now; Miami, Berlin and Paris are examples used to explore the concept.
I own a business. Where do I start?
Visit GoBTC Pay and choose the merchant application. Onboarding availability depends on your country and the review outcome.
